If you want to combine 2 PDFs but in a form that each page of one file cross-combines with the other, you can use the Cross-Merge function of PDFelement. This feature allows you to add both the documents and select the number of pages that you want to combine efficiently. You can also name the merged file and select the destination folder accordingly to your preferences.
Open the PDF and Choose Cross-Merge
- Start by opening the PDF in the tool’s interface and accessing the “Tools” section from the tools taskbar.
- Now, extend the “More” option and select the “Cross-Merge” option by clicking on it.

Import Other File and Select Pages
- In the following interface, import the files that you want to merge into the designated fields.
- Specify the number of pages and other settings, and hit the “OK” button to let the tool begin the merging process.
- Once done, the merged file will be saved and opened in a new tab within the tool's interface.
